Project Launch in Dublin
The project was launched in Dublin on the 30th and 31st of October 2012. The meetings were hosted by the Immigrant Council of Ireland and were attended by partner organisations from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Lithuania and Finland.
The partners were joined by special guest The Lord Mayor of Dublin (pictured below) who welcomed the new project and the partners to Dublin.
During the course of the meetings the partners were also joined by; Gerardine Rowley: Communications and Training Officer with Ruhama, Linda Latham: Womens’ Health Service HSE, David Gilbride: Principal Officer of Anti Human Trafficking Unit and Odette Reidy: Health Service Executive Anti Human Trafficking Unit who each presented the Irish situation of human trafficking from their professional perspectives.
The meetings were a fruitful and exciting way to kick off the project and will be followed by more meetings in each member State throughout the duration of the project.
