Partner Meeting in Cyprus

At the beginning of February a partner meeting of the Stop Traffick! European project took place in Nicosia Cyprus.
The meeting was chaired by the Immigrant Council of Ireland and hosted by the Cypriot partner Mediterranean Institute for Gender Studies with other partners from Finland, Lithuania and Bulgaria also participating.
The findings of a recent ICI survey exploring the attitudes to paid sex and human trafficking among buyers and non-buyers of sex was presented, which will constitute part of a greater research piece on attitudes and efficient measure to deter demand for trafficked people to be launched later in the year.
